MY PURPOSE

My passion in life is elevating students to reach their full potential. I believe that every child, no matter their race, household income, or address, deserves an educational experience that works for them.

MY STORY

I am a public high school math teacher and basketball coach, but my most important job is being a father to my two young children. I grew up in small-town Texas with very few options in regards to my education. I was fortunate enough to go play basketball in college after I graduated high school, and from there my world opened up. I began teaching and coaching straight out of college and after years of working with students throughout the state of Texas I have realized we really do need more educational opportunities for our kids. Every child is so unique and every child responds and learns in different ways. I realized one day while talking with my wife that I should stop complaining about this and just do something to help move the ball forward in the right direction.

That is why I am here, to create a better future for my kids, your kids, and all generations to come.
